About
I'm Elda, a college-junior-aged francophile studying in Strasbourg for a semester. If you're curious about the name of the blog, "Petite France" is what the historic, picturesque part of Strasbourg is called. "Petit Mots" are "notes" in French, or "little words" literally.
I'm searching for the self-confidence and self-discovery that come with traveling, speaking another language, and trying new things. More academically, I'm curious about outlooks on national identity in a city that has been historically both German and French. And of course I'm always seeking out a good cup of tea or coffee. :)
I'm writing this blog personally, geared towards my family, my friends, and students going a similar trip, particularly from my university (Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, PA). My program is called Acces, and I'm participating in the Classique track.
Most of the pictures I take go onto my Facebook page.
Bon voyage, and hope you enjoy reading!
